For five minutes leave conditioner in and rinse completely. In the case of leave-in conditioners, follow product directions that will point out whether to apply before or after hair has dried.
After washing treat hair softly. Wrap hair loosely in a clean towel after squeezing away excess water. To increase absorption, press it firmly against the head. To minimize the occurrence of possible damages, let it dry naturally. If you want to blow dry, do not start until the hair is already 3/4 dry. Do not allow the scalp get hot in anywhere, don't permit the dryer heat one section of hair too much, and not at all carry on to dry hair that is already dry.
Brush or comb your hair properly when it is dry. Don't comb wet hair as it leads to split ends from tugging and pulling. When getting out tangles, always begin at the ends of the hair and work your way up toward the scalp. Make use of a brush that is apt for your hair type. For thin hair use a small, soft brush, and a large brush with bristles for long and thick hair.
Opt for hair care products suitable for your hair type. There are conditioners, shampoos, and other styling products specifically developed to put up the needs of particular hair types - from curly and thick to straight and thin, chemically damaged and more.
To protect the locks from sun damage, apply an SPF spray.
At any time possible, stay away from chemical treatments such as highlighting, coloring, straightening, perming and other damaging treatments.
