Fight Cellulite Through The Power of Breath

Breathing Exercises to Eliminate Cellulite
Are you aware that cells and tissues inside your body can become easily damaged, and cause cellulite if they aren't getting enough oxygen?
The most vital of all nutrients for your body to function correctly is oxygen. People who are overweight, unhealthy or have cellulite usually suffer from a lack of oxygen and too much carbon dioxide. Shallow breathing is the big culprit.
Negative Effects of Shallow Breathing
This happens over time from shallow or rapid breathing which decreases the delivery and flow of oxygen to your tissues by constricting chest and lung tissue which leads to an oxygen and carbon dioxide imbalance. An imbalance doesn't allow your body to get rid of toxins it produces, and toxins are one of the causes of cellulite.
Quick test to see if you're a shallow breather:
Place one hand on your tummy and the other on your chest and take a regular breath.  Does your hand that's placed on your chest come out further than your hand on your tummy?  If the answer is yes, then you're a shallow breather.  Your tummy needs to rise more than your chest as your diaphragm expands.
Do you know that most of the waste your body produces is eliminated through exhaling?
Just by breathing, your body automatically cleanses itself.  Oxygen helps this process along and if you're not properly breathing, your body isn't able to get the oxygen it needs to do the job.
Do you know that your lymphatic system is your body's way of cleaning out all the garbarge from your cells?
If your body isn't receiving the oxygen it needs, the lymphatic system has a harder time processing  and getting rid of the toxins from your cells and your body can't have the chance to fight cellulite.  You can regulate all of this by implementing Yoga and/or deep breathing exercises.
Do you want to give weight loss a boost?
Raise your metabolism with deep breathing exercises - they are beneficial exercises to fight cellulite too.  Most people don't realize that deep breathing is an aerobic activity in itself which helps burn calories.  The word aerobic means "with oxygen".  Proper breathing helps expel excess carbon dioxide, and fat exits the body through carbon dioxide.
2 Deep Breathing Exercises
The 4-7-8 Breathing Technique
Breathe in through your nose and count to 4.
Hold your breath and count to 7.
Slowly exhale through your mouth and count to 8. *Important Step*
*Try to make you're utilizing the full extent of movement in your lungs, diaphragm, stomach and back.
Stimulating Breath Technique
Increases energy, improves blood circulation, rids your body of toxins, raises alertness, warms the body.
To insure you start with plenty of oxygen, first take a slow deep breath.
Rapidly inhale and exhale 10-15 times through your nose with mouth closed. Don't do more than 15 times your first try. You'll hear a hissing sound (hence the name "bellows" - it sounds like wind going through a bellow). After your last breath, take a deep breath through your nose while bending your neck toward your chin for about 5 seconds then release.
Repeat this cycle for 2 more sets by inhaling and exhaling 10 - 20 times.
Do not do more than 3 sets.
*As oxygen is inhaled and exhaled from the lungs, try to coordinate the action of the diaphragm and abdominal muscles - use your diaphragm to inhale and use your abdominal muscles to push the air out.
Try them for yourself - They are great exercises to eliminate cellulite!
For years my brother has been touting the importance of deep breathing exercises to rid your body of toxins.  I've only recently heeded his advice, and have to tell you it has made a world of difference!  (Darn it, guess I'll have to hear a "I told you so" now from him hahaha).
Practice deep breathing exercises for yourself and see for yourself how it will clear out excess toxins and fight cellulite.  You will feel better and the health benefits to your body will be amazing.
